DAY 14 ✻ SATURDAY, JANUARY 18

Today marks 2 weeks complete, 2 weeks to go!! Keep it going! Even if you’re having somewhat of a hard time with it, or not getting everything in, or feeling overwhelmed, or feeling like you’re not getting anywhere… just keep swimming, just keep swimming. :)

Intention/theme: Declare Your Goals

Challenge: I personally have a hard time sitting down and writing out goals. It’s very hard for me — I always seem to strongly resist it. My excuse is that I live in the moment and take one day at a time. But I am learning that setting goals is extremely important in creating the life you want and living to your full potential. Taking the time to consciously think about what we want to create and what we want to achieve is the first step to making it all happen. When we consciously declare to ourselves and the universe what we intend to create, whether it’s for this week, this month, this year or 10 years from now, we make it known and start on the path to fulfilling our dreams. We can live in the moment and live one day at a time, while still setting goals for the future. It’s important to remember along the journey that this moment is the most important moment — this step is the most important step. It’s about the journey, not just the destination. The journey of creating the things you want to create in this world for yourself and others should not be a stressful, anxiety-filled journey. The journey is now. The journey begins now. The journey is LIFE. So live each moment. Make the journey playful, fun, celebratory, filled with love, joy and peace.

TODAY, sit down with yourself and write out your priorities and goals in life. Maybe you haven’t really even thought about it much past this month or next. Now is the time to become conscious and declare your goals. As you answer the following questions, expand your mind and heart to think about all the possibilities for your life.

*These questions are from Brian Tracy’s Psychology of Achievement.*

1) What are the things you value most in life?

2) In 30 seconds or less, write down the 3 most important goals in your life right now.

3) What would you do if you won $1 million?

4) What would you do if you only had 6 months to live?

5) What have you always wanted to do but have been afraid to attempt?

6) In looking back at all the things you’ve done, what gives you your greatest feeling of importance?

7) What one great thing would you dare to dream if you knew you could not fail?

What do you want to accomplish:

✻ In 10 years:

✻ In 1 year:

✻ In the next month:

You must see your goals clearly and specifically before you can set out for them.

Hold them in your mind until they become second nature.

BONUS: Make time to PLAY today. After you’ve written out your goals, make sure to let loose and play. Laugh, smile, take it easy. Enjoy the moment. Do a cartwheel. Play with handstands. Have a game night. Play hide and seek. Play tag. Play anything! Reignite childhood play, lightheartedness, joy and a good sense of humor. Lighten up. Smile. Don’t take anything too seriously, including yourself!
